If you like fish, you'll love this place. Absolutely delicious whether you have your fish herb-encrusted, plain fried or with almonds. Very agreeable local wines are served here in dry (trocken) or slightly sweet/demi-sec (halb-trocken) versions. Finish off with their lovely stewed berries "rote grueze". Service is friendly and efficient. The decor/ambience is simple but charming. All praise and nothing to complain about

The best fish restaurant in the world and a real insider tip. A reservation is mandatory so that you don't miss out on this enjoyment. I have known the Fischerstube for over thirty years and have traveled a lot since then, which is why I stand behind the claim that it is the best fish restaurant in the world. Unfortunately, I rarely come to Reichenau these days, but every trip to the area is rounded off with a meal in the Fischerstube. Above all, the quality of all the food, the fair price-performance ratio and the friendly owners convince the many regular guests. Whether it's fish soup or a fresh salad as a starter, everything is delicious. When it comes to main courses, it is very difficult to choose despite the manageable menu and it is also worth taking a look at the daily recommendation. The changing sorbets are always very tasty.
